Mercedes 190E 1993 auto transmission oil

Default Mercedes 190E 1993 auto transmission oil

Hi

Has anybody done an oil change on the auto box on a 190? Is it difficult?I heardthat there is no need as itdoes not deacy due to the low temperatures it works under. Is this so?

The 190e is not difficult to do an automatic transmission oil change. Get yourself the new filter,pan gasket, and oil and you should be set. There is a drain plug on the pan and on the torque converter.
Drain oil, remove pan, replace filter, replacepan gasket, bolt up pan, and add oil.
I don't know about that low temperature thing though.
