I'm new here. glad to find you all.
I have a 4 speed manual tranny from a 240D bolted to a 300 TD engine (both early 80's). I put the 240D flywheel on my engine and put the whole thing into a 1963 1/2 ton Dodge panel truck. The rear end is out of a '78 Bronco (9 1/2" with 4.56 gears) and the driveshaft is custom made. It runs on veggie oil and I'm currently on my 5th cross country trip in this thing.
There is oil leaking out of the bellhousing from the tranny. Can anyone tell me what i need to know about getting an oil seal for this and anything else i need to know before digging in?
