My keyless starter is not working triedboth fobs, it is a 2005 SL 500, any suggestions?

 

First check the batteries in both remotes,
Check is the central locking working using the keyless go from both front doors?
What error message are you getting when you press the brake then press the button on the top of the gear shift?
