On the MBs with the keyless start systems (On/Off Ignition switch), will the car shut itself down if you drive off without taking the Fob along? In other words, start the car with the fob in close proximity, then drive off without the fob.

 

you can drive off with it for a certain amout of time. ive driven around the dealership without the fob and had no problem but once you shut it off. thats it. because of safety reasons the car just wont shut off. cause youll lose control.
