Thanks Blue. Done and Done! I used the vacuum cleaner at every screw to keep the scrapings manageable and removed the FD. Tomorrow, I will zip over to the hardware store and then possibly the machine shop to get three new screws and take it from there. Thank you again. Simple job, just never did it before and didn't want to screw anything up.
