I took a look at a 2000 C230 today. The owner will not be available for a few days and the person that showed me the car didn't know anything about it. It looks like the C230 sport model but appears a bit lower than others I have seen. It also has fog lights in front and headlamp wipers. It does NOT say "sport" on the side moulding like the standard C230 Sport does. The interior has 2 tone seats that I also have not seen in other sport models. Here are a couple photos. If anyone can tell me some history on this vehicle that would be great! Was this some special package option? CarFax says it is a C230 2.3L F1. There are no badges on the back of the car other than an AMG badge which I don't think really belongs to the car. There is a cover on the steering wheel but I think the steering wheel looks like the normal steering wheel.

as far as i know if you get the vin number and bring it to a dealership service dept, they can tell you what it is. with the number, it can tell you everything, such as year, options, model, etc.
