Hi,
Sunroof drain a possibility BUT
Had a new windscreen by any chance? Park your car facing uphill, downhill, tilted etc? Park under/near (pine) trees?
Ask yourself....Why has the problem started after 6 years?
Sure the interior air intake (plenum) drain is clear. (likewise the sunroof drains but it is less likely these have got filled with needles although if you have had a new bumper (accident damage) the drain tubes are often squashed during reassembly.
Important thing is to get the car in the dry quickly and get it fixed otherwise you are likely to have increasingly expensive electrical problems as corrosion impacts electrical terminals etc.
Oh dear! Its been very wet in the UK over the last few days!
Keep us posted.

I'm in the US with a C280 (W202) and had the same problem. Water from the windshield drains down under the hood into an area where there is a drain which drains out into the passenger side wheelwell (maybe your drain is on the driver's side). The drain takes a 90 degree turn and frequently gets clogged with junk from trees. I had to lossen up the junk in there with my finger or a screwdriver. I then flushed it out with water. The water coming into my passenger floor had nothing to do with the sunroof. Good luck.
