I listed this problem in the CLK forum.I am working on a 2004 CLK 500 and my database does not list the speed sense wire for the nav.If anyone knows the color and location please help me out ..

Hi,

I don't know much about Nav so didn't reply initially.

However, I woulkd be amazed if the speed sensor signal were any different to that used by the ABS, ASR, ESP, Speedo, Trip computer etc which are all basically the same DIGITAL signal.
There is a speed sensor on each wheel (to determine slip, yaw etc) although some systems only use one signal.
If you do not show an ABSetc fault and all the usual systems are working I would be astounded if you have a speed signal problem.

For info therewill NOT be a wire for speed sense since my guess is that it will "travel" with other signals down the CAN (digital highway) which is often represented by a green and a white wire.

Any help?
