Default RE: FUEL FILTER Question

Mercedes, and other manufacturers for that matter, routinely change part numbers for various and sundry reasons....new manufacturer/supplier to them, new design gets new number to tell it from old stock, etc.

I think the question behind your question is how can you be sure that the filter, part, whatever is the most current and correct one for your car. The best way is to sign up at Mercedes EPC(Electronic Parts Catalog) at

https://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/login.jsp

If you're in the US, the subscription to this parts catalog specific to your car is free. You will be asked to provide a Credit Card # that is not charged , but used to verify your identity. It's a great free service that is bulletproof when it comes to part numbers. Good Hunting
