E420 Replacement Brake pads and rotors

E420 Replacement Brake pads and rotors
I've recently purchased a 97 E420. love the car but have to replace the fronts pads and rotors. should I go with oe or try a suggested brand of rotor called power slot? also suggested Hawk pads, yellow version?
