Reccommendations on brake pads and slotted rotors. Only got 17,000 miles out of last pads. All city driving. Does that seem odd?

 

That does seem a little bit short, I'm not going to lie. My old Honda Accord went 20K miles and still have 60% of the brake remaining when I got it replaced. Then again, I did a very even amount of city and highway driving. I also don't drive hard at all. Are you a pretty aggressive driver?

 

have all the pads worn evenly? do you use your left foot while driving and do you shift down when going down hills?
