Just put new serpentine belt on my '94 E320 Cabriolet. I crank the tensioning bolt like crazy and the pointer doesn't seem to move much, if at all. BTW...I can move the pointer anywhere I want manually just by pushing it. There is resistance on the bolt, so I don't think it's stripped, but the belt doesn't want to tighten up. What's up?
