im preparing my car for winter storage its a MErcedes 300 SE i started a thread on here about storage, i was told that replace the oil spark plugs well over all a complete service and to drain and replace the coolant fluid in the radiator................ just 1 question if any 1 can help me , is there any special step i might need to take wen replacing the radiator fluid? ... my car is equipped with Air con,.... is it possible for me to replace and flush the coolant from the radiator like a usual car without air con, or might there be certain step i might need to take inconjunction it being equipped with air con ?? .....

 

What year is your car? Unless it's 40-years-old I don't think you need to flush and fill the coolant, unless you just want to.

Just check the mixture with one of those suction thingies with the floating ***** in it. Make sure the mix is 50/50, or more anti-freeze if you live in Siberia.

 

For how long are you planing to storage it?
Is not longer, that 6 month, all I would worry about is disconnecting the battery. If you plan to leave it outdoor, adding some gasoline stabilizer might help, although my open-tank boat starts on 8-months gasoline without a problem.
