Default CD Changer: HELP!!!!!!!

I am trying to locate a CD Changer that is compatible with my 1993 400SEL. It has a Becker stereo that is set up to receive a 10 disc changer and the wiring is in place in the trunk. My problem is that I can't seem to figure out what CD Changer I need and whether or not I can use one that is not Mercedes Benz brand. Anyone out there know what I can do without going to an FM modulated changer. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Crutchfield is telling me that they don't have any products or information on that model year. They have recommended that I go directly to M.B.

If I were you, I will get a whole new head unit and all the bells and whistles that go with it, because it is of lesser headache. I am particularly fond of $2,000 Alpine unit with LCD display and navigation system.

If you absolutely must keep the existing stereo...that's tough - considering the fact that you don't want to go to the dealership.

For a 10-disc changer, I don't think MB will charge you less than $500. So...you are better of with a modern 3rd party unit.
