I just purchased this 1994 E320 sedan. Brakes and rotorswere put on all 4 wheels and I notice that when I stop slowly that there is a squeal and the Abs system engages as you come to a stop. The ABS light does not come on. Any suggestions? Also we noticed that the ASR light comes on. When I turn off the car and turn it back on the light will go off. We do not notice anything happening to the car when the light is on. Is this perhaps associated with the ABS problem? Thanks for anyones help.

Sounds like an ABS problem. The ABR and ABS use the same system. If the ABS is cutting in too early? then it could be a pressure sensor on the ABR/ABS unit. This usually means and entire unit!
