Hello all,

Have a 93 300D diesel 2.5L that has developed a couple of fuel leaks directly under injectors 1 and 2, that is around the housing where it threads into the head. Intake manifold, manifold gasket do not allow for 100% pin point of leak location.

Questions: For an experienced automotive mechanic (fair on diesels) how hard is the injector re-build operation. I purchased some time ago the 22mm socket to remove the upper portion of injector for repair to where the pipe fits above. In reading it appears as if I need to purchase another 22mm with some special cut-out for the return hose fitting (which BTW is not leaking or hose wet).
