I was recently given a 1986 300E with 129k miles. The car has been well maintained and except for some small cosmetic issues is in good order.
At the moment I am unable to get it to start up, I am getting the engine to turn over without any issues but it won't run for more then a few seconds at a time. The car was used over the past several months and ran fine.
I checked the air filter, spark plugs and gas line(s), all seem to be in fine operating order.
Any thoughts on what might be wrong?
