I have an '86 190E that is balky when cold (outside temp below 50F) it shifts funny and doesn't really want to "go" until the coolant reachs about 40C, then it runs fine. It has 26,000 miles on a new engine which probably hasn't been tuned up yet. Would a tune-up help or is there some sensor or something that might be a miss?
