Sorry for the long delay in posting a follup to my previous message, needless to say my car is all fixed up and running beatifully. The only problem now is the leaky sunroof seal, which is probably the original part. I have found a retailer from which to purchase a new seal. However, I dont know how to install it. Any suggestions would be very helpfull. Thanks

 

I did mine on a 92 SEL. I made sure the channel was clean and rememered the orientation (the two joints are in the rear). I would definately start in the corners and work the seal in all the way around, using a wallpaper roller to get it seated all around. The MB seal is expensive $100 dont cut it to fit, a very little silicone will help it go into the groove, but dont overdo it

 

just wet the new seal with water before installing.
