Hello!

What do you all recommend for my 240D that now burns about a quart of oil for every ~700 miles?

Also, the gas gauge stopped working accurately. I was told this was a costly and lengthy repair, not worth the time. Is that true? or is it something that I could buy at a pick/pull? I wouldn't mind, but the odometer does not work either!

A rebuild of the bottom end

 

My 240d is burning about a quart every 400 miles. I really don't want to have it rebuilr, will keep running it.

 

Mine does not leak a drop. surprisingly enough, first MB that I have ever had that doesn't leak.

Im not worried about fixing it at the moment, no time; will just keep dumping oil into it.
