Hello all, recently I bought a 2000 S500 with 65k miles. Twice now the "airmatic malfunction visit workshop" messege has come on. The car rises fine when I start it, and there dosen't appear to be any ride/suspension issues. When I turn the car off, and get out I can hear the air being released and see the car lower. When I get back in and start it, everything is fine. The two times it did this were in the morning when I first start the car and it was cool out (49-58 degrees) Any ideas?

 

front shocks most likely leaking from the tops..they crack and when the vehicle sits overnight the car drops in the front. there are rebuild kits available...the vehicle will raise and lower fine but will get worse....
