Hi everyone,


I have a 1996 c220. The sunroof broke so I went to the local junkyard and pulled one. To install it, I removed the headliner, handles and mirror (unplugged it ). After installing the sunroof, wanted to test it so I turned the ignition on. I did so without plugging the mirror back in. It worked. So I then re-installed headliner, handles and mirror.

Now car wont start with the red and green lights flashing while trying to start car.


I don't know what could have happened by turning the ignition on with mirror un-plugged.


I have read every possible thread and have tried all the sequence resetting suggestions. The immobilizer will not let it start.


The car worked perfectly normal prior to installing the sunroof.


Any info would be greatly appreciated.
