Last nighty, when I turn the key to position 1 (just before starting the engine), there was a electronic buzz from the engine department. Thiswent on even after the engine has started. Does any one have any idea what may cause this? When I started the engine this morning Icould not heard the buzz. I have a 190E 1.8AT.

 

An update. The engine oil alert light came on and I found the level to be low. I added somemore engne oil and the sound went away. Coincidence?</P>


BTW, can synthetic and non-synthetic oils be mixed?</P>
