Where can I buya turbo fora 190D?

 

Hi,
I've got an '84 190d, and I want to add a turbo to it too. The only option is definitely an engine swap? The manifolds don't match up? I could make the exhaust, but probably not the manifolds.

Will the '87 turbo engine bolt up to the '84 transmission, or would I need the '87 tranny too? If it does bolt up, would it cause any other problems?

Has anyone out there done this before? Where can I find more info? I don't suppose anyone's whipped up a how-to or anything...

So I could put a turbo on it but it wouldn't last long. Would the '87 engine match the '84 engine mounts?
