Hello all, just want to say thanks for the info on my previous thread....you steered me in the right direction.

now for another....

im looking at a 1985 300sd turbo....

its a little worn but looks solid (via the computer screen)
im going to look at it and talk to the mechanic...
no way of knowing mileage....the odometer broke at 134,000...

what should i look for/ ask?

im a total newbie to diesels and mercedes.
