Hi all - I've been looking around here for a while now and just wanted to ask a couple questions about the older diesel models available.

-I'm currently browsing/looking at Mercedes Diesels on craigslist, just gauging the market, and am wondering if there are any other sites that you suggest for older Mercedes diesels on sale.

-Are there any older diesels that came with manual tranmissions? I saw one today and got really excited but want to know which models i should look into if that is indeed the route i go.

I am not looking to buy for another year or so, but I want to start researching now and getting my bearings on what to look at and the amount of work I'd have to put into it.

I'm not really familiar with anything THAT old...

Also, I assume you mean any turbo diesel can have a stick swapped? A 300TD/CD can too??
