Default OM617 Injection Pump timing

Ok, so I bought an OM617 diesel that was missing the injection pump on it. Went to the junkyard and found a replacement no problem, but not exactly sure how to set the engine timing back to injection pump timing or vice versa. Any help would be much appreciated.

Kent at tMercedes source has the best system to set the timing. His video is great. I did it first time with no problem on a 616. 617 motors are more trouble.
