were the 300SD's intercooled? cause if they werent y hasnt some tried? just dont care cause its a 20+ year old car? too much of a hassle? im not exactly tryin to turn it into a road rocket....i just dont feel like DIEING when merging into traffic...that wont stop me from finding one come october/november... your thoughts?

 

Finnish boys have intercooled and added big spoolers to get some scary numbers.
Intercooling will lower the intake temps but won't make your car any faster w/out the fueling.
W/ gassers you work the air side more. W/ diesels you work the fuel side more.

 

im not really tryin to turn it into some road warrior...i just wanted to try and lower intake temps a little bit to get some more power off the line...but it looks like u would have to clock the turbo and go to far from the bullet proof design banz has...might not be worth it
