Hello and thanks to anyone who may be able to assist. I have a chance to purchase a 1983 240D automatic. Daily driver for current owner's wife for last two years. Odometer non-functioning at 160K miles. Vacum hoses all recently replaced. Mechanically sound. All electrical functional. Sunroof works. Interior described to me as a 6 out of 10 with a loose headliner and cracked wood grain. Not stained or torn. Body is straight and never been hit. All glass is good. Light hail damage on hood. Owner states the car is a "10 footer." Provided pics make it hard to tell. Owner is asking $1200 but might rip my arm off for $1000 since he needs to move it. Thumbs up or down? I thinking to use it as a daily driver to work. Thanks again and have a good day!
