one of the benefits of sulpher in the fuel is it acts as a lubricant for the injector pumps. run marvel mystery oil in your fuel to help with lubrication.

low sulphur diesel has been sold at the pump since the early '90s in the United States. The impact was rather harsh for some of the diesel community. Lots of ip's got trashed. some fared better than others. Mercedes and VW did just fine, but the domestic diesels had a tough go of it. I still add fuel modifier to my vw diesel "just in case" I have thought about using off road diesel, but the fuel ****'s are everywhere these days. { I used to drive a fuel truck from 1993 to 1998 putting myself through college}

the only real benefit of sulpher in the fuel IS lubrication of the injectors and injector pump. we can counteract the loss of lubricant with marvel mystery oil or Howes diesel fuel additive. most of the truckers in the north east use howes. i use MMO myself.
