Default Hey out there in MB Dieselland!!

I have been working on a project car. 1984 190D 2.2 It has been much fun, and now it is time to get to the nuts and bolts of getting it reliable. It sat for about a year and a half, so it took some work to get it going. Recently I serviced the transmission with a Mann filter kit, and it works alot better. But now what it does is shutter in first geat, but once it shifts up, it runs like a charm. I have read many threads on valve body repairs, but I don't have the tools. I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of a GOOD service facility in the Las Vegas area. And please don't say Fletch because I think he is the biggest ripoff I have ever had to deal with. Any help would be appreciated, and keep up the good work!! THANKS!!

If you have an Automatic Transmission and it is the similar to the 300D Transmission you could have the start of a B2 Piston/Seal/Bushing problem if no one has replaced it.

Thanks for the help so far. The converter seems to stall up pretty good. Don't have a tach. Can someone explain more about the B2 or the K1 and how they affect the operation of the trans?? I was also told of a shift improver kit from Superior that is supposed to help?? Thanks guys!!!
