Default Hey there folks, first time Mercedes owner here.

Hey folks, new guy here.

I picked up a 2009 E350 4Matic with an AMG package in mid August and put about 3,500 miles on it already from driving cross-country. This is my first Mercedes and I'm absolutely loving this ride. That and with the new body style coming out, I got one of the best deals imaginable on it.

Rides smooth as butter and very comfortable cabin. Pretty decent acceleration for a 6 cylinder but the thing keeps hauling even when you're idling in the 70s. Great daily driver for sure, damn thing gets too dirty quick though.

WOW! Thats one amazing looking car. Congrarts. I too did notice that you were listening to Metallica. With that nice Harmon Kardon system you can hear it good.

Nice, looks just like my whip, got mine in July. Ya it is one good roller, I can coast coming home and get 29mpg for a 20 mile trip averaging 40mph. I think it has enough power, press it to the floor and it's scary, not like a E550 but it does the trick. I only have to things I don't like, just like my C230 it doesn't down shift early enough, it can learn to but then that means I have to drive sporty all the time to train it and that eats up gas. The other thing is the Michelin tires, they have to go, they react too late on lane changes and corners, I test drove several others that weren't on these Michelins and the turning was perfect. I'll put them back on in two years when I sell, it will help resale. Other then those two things it is one nice machine! I have done a lot of research on tires and this particular Michelin is not well liked, I might just go cheap and get a Falken, put them on my C class and they were great...there is a wide range of tires and from what I can tell more $$ isn't always the answer...the ones on my car now are over 300 each and the reviews are not good.
