well, my screenname pretty much says it. my name is alex and i like mercedes-benz vehicles. from the a-class to the unimog, i got a thing for them all. in fact, i like the darn things enough that im going to school at uti's mercedes benz elite to learn how to work on 'em.

i bought my first mercedes when i was 17, a 93 300d. car lasted me over 450k miles. since then ive had a run of them, including,

1980 300sd
1984 500sel
1988 420sel
1974 240d
1983 240d

i still have the 500 and the engine and trans from the 420


i know a little about each series i have owned, but not nearly everything, and i have both questions and answers for other forum users.
