i am considering parting out my 74 240d. it is tan with tan what i think are mb-tex seats. whole car is in good condition and has almost all trim, including carpets, chrome trim everwhere, and factory hub caps. the car is a rolling chassis with a good 4 spd manual transmission, but the engine is removed.

i have the engine from the 74 (4 cylinder non-turbo) with all of the parts in tact. it did not start when i pulled it, i think it had been overheated by the previous owner and cracked either the block or the head, i havent torn it down yet. i also have a 4 cylinder non-turbo diesel out of an 83 (123 chassis i think) 240d which i had planned to put in the car, but it takes modification that i am currently not motivated to do, mostly relocation of the oil filter housing. i have all the parts for this engine too.

things that may be of intrest that i know i have are two injection pumps, tow ac compressors, two alternators, two starters, two exhaust and intake manifolds. i am willing to tear the motors apart for specefic peices, or to sell anything from either enginem the car, or all of it as a package.
