Hi there. This probably the dumbest questions on this whole site... Take a look at the 2 photos.

(Photo 01) What does that **** do? My guess is that switches the defrost from front to back or both windows.

(Photo 02) The center light (Circle with 6 dashes surrounding it) has been turning on and off every now and then. I was wondering what it means...

I really need to get a manual...

Hey....thankyou...we just joined the forum today...and have this same situation on our 82 300SD. After checking the break fluid level...we figured the light must be a pad sensor. Its good to know for sure though!
