i need some help, Does anyone know
how to remove the cigar lighter assembly from a 99 C280. I need to replace the cigar lighter assembly. So do I have to remove the etire ash try assembly or is there a way just to remove the lighter assembly??
Thanks, and by the way HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND. Which will be the worse foliage weekend in recent history up here in New England, so if anyone is planning a trip to see all the "colors" There ain't any, save you money for a new Mercedes.
Thanks[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

How is this hot enough for you? Thanks, The way I read the instructions you posted I remove the gear shift trim which will give me access to the coin holder under the ash tray and there shoud be a couple of screws holding the ash try in? Or am I missing somehting?? I have ADHD, so comprehension is not my best trait. Almost forgot Thank you for the information!!!

as you know i have a gear stick here and so havent followed these instructions but they looked correct to me, follow the 1-2-3 etc steps. where the bottom coil tray thing is can come out if you pull it up. the picture follows the correct steps and is easiest.
try it and if you cant follow ill write more detailed stuff.
And yea that pics better :-)
