Best engine oil.
Reading the posts, going back to page 24, regarding engine oil there are many differences from 0 - 10, 5-30 etc, what I would like to find out is what type of oil is the best and what is the most poplar with experience on both types.
My oil change is due next month and I'm still not sure which oil I should use, and I can imagne this is the same with many MB drivers out there.
MB recommend 0 - 30 is this the best, but dose it matter how old the car is, dose it matter how many miles you drive the car and dose it matter the type of weather the MB driver is in.
So my question to you is:
I have a C220 CDI 2002 (52), drive approx 10,000 mile per year, start/stop mileage, live in England, (sunny in the morning, snowing in the afternoon, raining in the evening.) [8D]
What oil should I use?

RE: Best engine oil.
Since its a Diesel i would put CF rated oil with a Viscosity based on the temperature range during the oild change interval but a good year around weight for Diesel is 15-40, 15-50, 10-40, 10-50 lighter oil for lower temps but if a manufacturer recoomends a certain weight then i go with that.
