Like the title states, I would like to remove the ALDA and block it off with something (a plate of some kind)

Now let me tell you I know what I am doing I will be installing a EGT gauge as well as boost BEFORE I do this. I am a diesel mechanic among other things and I used to own two dodge rams both with the cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel (one electronic, one mechanical like the benz)

That all being said, what are the EGT limits of the Om617,

AND does anyone make a block off plate to get rid of the ALDA or do I have to make my own??

Also can i just disconnect the ALDA or will that leave me with no fueling at all???

By disconnect I mean remove not simply remove the boost line.
