Default 1984 300D turbo value?

Gentlemen, I've been lurking for a bit now and had a chance to look at a car today and am wondering what you think of the price and the cost to repair:

1984 300D turbo
113,000 miles (2 owners)
Automatic transmission
Yellow with tan interior
Body is straight with no signs of rust yet
Upholstery OK, dash OK
$1500

Problems:
Wouldn't start today off a jump start, slow cranking speed - its about 30F
Owner says alternator has failed
Windows don't work
AC doesn't work (bad combo with above)
Sunroof doesn't work (makes AC and window issue worse!)
Water in driver's footwell
Door seals appear cracked and failing
Musty smell - assume from water leak

I'm assuming the following fixes:
Glow plugs, battery, alternator and regulator
Window switch cleaning, possible replacement
Replace door seals and clean out drain lines
Lots of cleaning - exterior and interior
AC???

If I go back to look when its warmer, what should I look for and what do you think it is worth?

Thanks in advance!

pfft. That's already a lot of big dollar items to fix for a moldy oldy. I'd say $500. tops.

If you don't like to tinker and plan on buying new parts to much money. I bought a 87 300D same cond. pulled the window motors cleaned relubed dishwashered the switches & sparyed 711/wd-40 in them. That got all the windows and sunroof working nicely. AC I pressure checked mine with nitrogen fixed leaks, and pulled several vacuums refilling with dry nitrogen in between. Used a water cooled vac pump for 6 hours total and got away with oil, freon, and O-ring sealer. How old was the fuel 30*F won't gel unless he had some WVO or other home brew in it. Work on the price worst case is you have to parts it out for your money. Though I hate to see that happen. Good luck

Exclamation grambo

water on floor could mean blown heater core - a very tough job to replace

Default 1981 Mercedes 300 D

We have a 1981 Mercedes 300D. It hasn't been run in about 5 years. It's always been stored inside. I'm not near the car today, so don't know the mileage, but will look it up next time I'm near the car. Any thoughts on value?
