1976 240D W115 Issues
So I recently purchased the above mentioned car, and I need a little help with a few things... Probably the most pressing problem is that the mount for the steering idler broke off. This happened either while I was removing the tires or towing it home, either way, is there a way to fix this short of welding it back in place and hoping it's aligned/can be aligned? I'll try to get pics when I get home.
Also, I went to pull the radiator, and the transmission cooler fitting in the rad broke. Now I can spin and spin the fitting and it never comes loose. If I cut the hose, will I be able to use a barb and clamps to hold it together?
The oil cooler leaks, and I'm having a bear of a time bleeding the brakes...
The primer pump leaks as well, I picked up a new style one, but how do I remove the old one?
