A local "antique" (and junk) store has a '58 180D for sale. There is some rust in the trunk, the interior is rough (and the front floor boards are long gone, replaced with plywood, although the steel pan underneath is surprisingly intact), it needs a repaint, and the windshield has a crack. Allegedly it runs and drives although I have not yet checked this myself.
They are asking $2,500 which seems high to me... any thoughts? It'd be a neat project once I got used to 43 hp and a four-on-the-tree trans
