Default CD Changer for 99 4matic wagon

I was surprised to find no changer in this car, just bought on ebay, though the car has premium Bose sound. Have found the right changer, several of them, A 002 820 79 89, Model MC 3198, on ebay, but there seems to be only one small cable free in the rear right well where the radio and amp are. One of the vendors says there is a Fibre Optic cable included with his changer. What does it connect the changer to, I wonder: the radio part that is there in the right rear well? What does the cable look like and what do its connectors look like? Does anybody out there know what I am in for? Do I have to lead a cable from up forward back to the site? Will be grateful for the help of an expert here. Thanks---Mason Smith
