Continental DWS tires show feathered wear on tires puchased from Tire Rack
Purchased DWS Continental tires (asymmetrical) from Tire Rack about 8000 miles ago. They show wear from feathering from rear to front (not from inside to outside). This occurs on all 4 tires evenly. The new tires were balanced and the ML 350 was aligned by Mercedes when the tires were new. Can't find any references on this type of wear although there is plenty on inside/outside feathering (toe in/out) and not wear on all four tires.
Tire Rack says this is caused by not rotating the tires. So, I'll have them rotated to see if this helps.
Anyone able to confirm that rotation is the culprit?
