The attached file is for the 560sel, if I am correct. What are the VIN of the these cars. I know that you are the original owner, but you might have an idea about the transmission. When was the last time it has been serviced.

Damn a blue 89 560SEL would look great next to my Grey 89 one but I'm way in Germany. Dang, I love the 1989-1991 560s so much I would buy two of them. One I would mod (of course keeping the the 560 style and feel) and one keep bone stock. I'm never at the right place at the right time for deals like that.

Oh. The result of running out of space. Same situation sorta with me. I love my BMW too but if I want a V-12 luxury vehicle Imust get rid of one of my cars for space. And my 560 SEL isn't going anywhere. I'd go through a couple of wives and divorces before I get rid of it. I'll keep it until the wheels fall off. (I haven't heard that happening on these W126s too often.) I wouldn't be surprise if I get old and die while having the 560 even if I must (for some reason) modify the engine to run off what ever "quickly dissapearing" resource they find in the future.

I chose to be here. I've been to Korea, a small year and a half in the states (hated it.) and requested to go to Germany just to get out of the states.

The people are a lot nicer and you don't have to worry about some one coming out of the blue and robbing, shooting, or other idiotic things that I see alot of Americans do. Some of that stuff happens but it's on rare occurances and it's mostly perputrated by Americans. Also it's just plain relieving to not have to put up with that cocky snobby "I'm better than everybody and I rule the world" American attitude 24 hours seven days a week. Even the French people are alot nicer, once you learn and or try to learn a little French and understand them. Then there are alot of things to do. Germany is basically in the middle of everything. The time it takes you to get to Paris, is not much shorter than the time it takes you to get to Rome, Italy. You can never run out of things to do, whether it's drinking beer (real beer not that American **** water that's called beer in the states.) or sight seeing, or whatever, there is truely something for everyone. But if you are addicted to Wal-mart, and other 24 hour service, you might be in trouble. It's changing but most places closes at around 4 in the after noon on Saturday and are closed totally on Sunday unless it's a pub or club. So you have to stock up on Saturday. It's a good place to visit and bring your car if you can. If you can't no biggy. To rent a brand new E-class is way cheaper than renting a Stratus in the states. But remember the Euro is up and a dollar is worth a little less here. Around $1.23 will get you one Euro. And sales taxes is around 16% but you hardly notice, because the price listed includes that tax amd it's still either not as or just a little more expensive than it would be in the states. Of course American mades products are a little more expensive because over here, it's an import. The odd thing to me is that over here the McDonalds sell beer. You can order a Big Mac with fries and a Heinekin or something. And if you are a wine person with a budget, you can find all types of wines from all over Europe that would cost all your limbs if you bought it in the states over here for an affordable price. One example is I bought a $50 wine for about 10 Euro which is around $12.30. They have buildings and castles over here. some intact, that was built before anybody even thought about "finding" North America. They make the oldest American history event seem like yesterday. This is a fun place to be.
