I am selling the following car. I recently bought this car for my father-in-law only to find out that he will not be able to renew his driver's license due to detoriating eyesight. He has always talked about this car and it is a shame that he can not keep it. I would have kept it but we already have 2 cars and we can not keep a third car for both financial reasons and parking space related issues.

Here is the information on the car


1991 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL. My father-in-lawtells me that this was flagship of Mercedes Benz and infact this was the last year that 560 SEL was made.
Currently, it is parked in Owings Mills, MD (zip code is 21117).


Condition: Excellent. I would go far to say it is in immaculate condition (both interior and exterior) for its age. It has had no accidents or dents. There is absolutely no rips and the back seats look like that it has rarely been used.


Running Condition: It runs very well and starts up on the first time (even after a week)


State Inspection: It has a valid PA inspection sticker that is valid till July of this year. It was recently (a week ago) inspected in Maryland and passed the inspection as well.


Ownership and Carfax: It has had two previous owners. The first owner had the car from Dec. 1991 to 2004 and drove 160,000 miles during the time. The first owner was from MD. The second owner was from 2004 till few weeks ago from Pennsylvania.

The carfax report is clean and will be shown on request on visit to see the car.
If you want the VIN number, ask for it in the email and it will be emailed to you.


Mileage: Currently, it has about 186,300 miles.

There is very little room for negotiations but of course, all negotiations must be done AFTER you have looked at the car. I do not believe that the seller and buyer can negotiate without looking at the car.

Oh, I am sorry to post the asking price. The asking price is $4500 with slight room for negotiations!
I have seen an identical car with far more mileage get a bid of $4500 on Ebay a week ago. I am just trying to save some $100 to $200 that Ebay charges.
