My battery was changed and the Becker radio prompted me to enter the code. After entering the 4 digit Becker radio code the screen went blank immediately after entering the 4th digit. The screen stays blank. When I turn the radio on the antenna will go up, and then after 30 seconds or so it will go down.

On the Mercedes Shop forum I found a thread from 3 years ago from someone with the exact same problem who also had a 1991 560 SEL. His solution, as described, was confusing to me. He said he solved the problem by replacing a fuse in the "radio unit" next to the antenna in the trunk. I don't know if he means a fuse in the antenna motor, which lies next to the antenna, or a fuse in the CD changer, which I have but I don't know if he did.

Does anyone in the forum know of any fuses in the trunk that could be responsible, if one is blown? The antenna motor does not seem likely because the antenna motor works. What other fuses could he have referred to. How would I access the fuse in the factory installed CD changer? Please help. Thanks much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
