1993 Mercedes Benz 190E AMG
FOR SALE: 1993 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 AMG
This is a seldom-seen car. Very few 190E Mercedes Benz cars were outfitted with the AMG-sportline package. Fewer still are available to purchase. This car is best acquired by a Mercedes enthusiast/aficionado who will appreciate its rarity. At the same time, the ideal buyer will have the skills to work on such a car himself. While the car runs great---a smooth and powerful ride---it does have some relatively minor issues that will need attention (see list below). It is for this reason that my asking price is as low as it is for such a rare model. Here are the details:
-186,000 miles (California car, freeway miles)
-no issues with the engine or transmission; the car runs great
-tires are in great shape, less than 5,000 miles on them
-no rust anywhere
-there are minor dings in the side door, mostly on passenger side
-AC doesn’t work properly, though the heater and defroster do
-stereo is shot. Needs a new one.
-door locks are stripped on both the driver and passenger doors. Must lock car via trunk
-left side windows need repair; neither is working properly at the moment
-brake pads need replacing
-interior upholstery shows wear
-missing wheel cap on right rear wheel
-there is a small electrical drain on the battery; may just need a small part to fix it
-needs a new engine belt
As can be seen, the car needs some work. I will entertain serious reasonable offers, as I would like to find a buyer for the car quickly. First good offer takes it. Asking $1,950. Steve. 619-990-1957. Located in San Diego area.
