I'm trying to help my great Aunt sell this. She's had it since around 8,000 miles. This is the epitome of old-lady-cars.

I know that the asking price is higher than other 190's you will find on craigslist, but I don't think this is a garden variety $1,000 190 either, this properly maintained example is for the right person. The price is OBO, and is happily discussed.

Disclaimer: ****The car had to have the engine replaced a year or two back with a used engine from another 190E, I believe hers had just sat idle for so much of the time a lot of the seals started to go and it wore out prematurely. I can give you her contact info to get the specifics of the engine replacement, I'm not 100% on the details.. No fluid leaks! All fluids are clean and topped up.****

Southern California car it's entire life, located in the foothills in Glendora, CA.

Absolutely perfect bodywork, nearly perfect paint (could use a buff), perfect interior (she actually could not remember if anyone had ever even sat in the rear seat) carpet, leather, door panels, etc.

Always parked in her garage.

Engine runs smooth, drives nice and straight, good brakes, good tires, no rattles clunks or squeaks. Good all around transportation car with some class.

Starts right up, many new parts, always maintained by Mercedes specialist, everything works (except the passenger rear power window).


Would be a great mom / girlfriend / kid's first car, very safe, very solid, not terribly fast, but it'll keep you out of trouble.



Price is negotiable, make me an offer! She needs it gone before registration expires next month, and she has a new Civic, and wants this to go somewhere it won't just sit like at her house.

Yup. Read through the CL terms of use finally and I think it was because I said the listing was for a family member, posting items as an agent for someone else seems to be forbidden regardless of affiliation of permission.

Have ad up on eBay classifieds now, price lowered too.
