Things that do not work:

Nice ride! I want to one as well. I'm here on the east coast and there is 85 230CE for Sale. No one knows anything about this vehicle and parts are not available using normal means and sources. This concerns me, would you share what you've learned in you driving and maintenance experience. Is the car fast? Easy to maintain? Where do you get parts? Are parts overly expensive and if you don't mind what are 3 things I should look for prior to making an offer. Thanks for you time.

I just found this thread on the site and found my car! I ment this is my car now, about 4 or five years later. I am attempting to locate this owner because I am doing a history book on it and have never talked to this owner. It is a very unusual 230 4 speed with all electric options ( including sunroof) and .........Factory AIR Conditioning! Fuel injected GAS - NOT DIESEL!
My son wants one of these cars so If any one see another 230 CE or 280 CE for sale please contact me, I accept email or email me your phone number.

This has been a Great car , Quick and fun to drive ! Easy Maintince too. 16 " wheels and wider tires, adjusted the suspension.
Never found another 4 speed with a/c sun roof factory power everything and no rust! MPGs and 70 mph Cruise !
