Please help! Parked up my 2002 Sprinter 416CDi sprintshift after Easter holiday one month ago - all was working perfectly well. Went out to start it up this weekend and discovered the following:

a) When turning key to position 2 - there is no gear shown in the dash display between the mileage and clock
b) When turning to position 3 (to crank it over) all I hear is a click in the engine bay and it will not turn over
c) Neither of the electric windows are working either.

Battery has been fully charged and I have checked as many earthing connections as I can find.

I don't want to be fleeced at the garage and prefer to go in (if I have to) fore-armed with some idea of what the problem could be.
